A Lecture with Dr. Andrea Cheville, Mayo Clinic
Dr. Andrea Cheville is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is the medical director for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Program in the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She received her M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School in 1993 and her Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. Her areas of clinical and research interest are lymphedema and cancer rehabilitation, palliative medicine, and patient-reported outcomes. She is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Palliative Care. She has received funding from the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, and the U.S. Department of Defense. She was elected to the National Institute of Medicine in October 2016.
